my influenster vox box!

hey everyone!  i recently got my first vox box!.  Influenster sponsor this program and they sent me free products to review on my blog.  The three products they sent me were the Proactiv cleansing system, vitabath, and the gillette venus pro skin razor.  i did not pay for any of these products but i do assure you i am giving my 100% honest opinion!

i have used proactiv before, but this is the first time ive used it in YEARS.  ive been using it regularly for about one week now and i cannot believe how amazing my skin is!!  I'm an avid tanner and honestly, this skin system has really helped my skin damage!  my skin is smooth to the touch and the redness and acne scars are starting to disappear!

I have never tried vitabath products before now.  the smell of the body wash as i lather it is so calming and relaxing! The scent is cucumber.  It literally feels like i'm in a spa.  It cleans very nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft :)

In the past i have used venus razors, but i have never tried the pro line.  The razor is lined on the top and bottom with a thick cushion of moisture!  It glides across my legs so smoothly and it NEVEr cuts me! I have seriously found my new go to razor.  I will continue to buy refills for this and throw away my old ones!

I am SO pleased with all of these products!  i will definitely repurchase when i run out of what i have!

thanks so much for reading and check back soon!

June favorites!

hey everyone :)  sorry its been so long since a post, ive been getting messages asking where i went but im here!!!!  I've been working a TON lately so not much time for blogging.  the past month or so i have found a bunch of new products that i am in LOVE with!

firstly, my favorite lipstick of the month has to be "fairest Nude" by l'oreal..  its this beautful pink nude that really blends in with my skin!

I would consider this too be a satin finish.  It's definitely NOT a shinnery lipstick and my favorite part about it is that my hair doesn't get caught in it when the wind blows!!

Next, I have discovered my new favorite perfume.  I wear this DAILY!  It's the katy perry scent called Purr.  Its an indescribable scent, so you will just have to try it out!  Also, the packaging is so cute :)

This next product is probably on everyones favorites list, but i am just now getting my hands on it.  It's the urban decay naked palette.   I absolutely love this as i expected i would. I didnt bother to swatch it for you because most of you already have this and love it!   if you don't have it, go buy it NOW.  its worth the money!!!

My next favorite is probably a little more pricy that what i usually spend n beauty items.  These are the sephora professional airbrush brush set.  These burushes cost me a little over 70 dollars after taxes, but let me tell you,  i have never been so in love with a brush set, EVER.  These brushes glide over my skin and leave me with a flawless foundation or eye look.

above is a link to the set so you can check it out yourself :)

Onto a clothing and accessories!  I've recently purchased a new bag from Guess.  Guess is probably one of my favorite clothing and accessory lines.  It clost me about 80 dollars but it was originally 120!  I thought it was a good deal :)  tell me what you think!

(disreguard the sock!  but side note:  those are the only brand i wear!  nononsense from walmart)

lastly, my new shoes.  I bought a pair of nike air max.  They are pretty comfortable and super cute!!

So hopefully my delay in blogging hasnt lost you guys!  keep checking back ill post more!  i hope you have a chance to try these products too because i sure am enjoying them!!!  enjoy the rest of your summer guys

april favorites!

hey guys. Sorry it's been so long!  finally ended my spring semester at school! April has been a pretty long month and its finally may so here are my favorite products of april!

Startin on the left, I have voluminous carbon black mascara, thank you shadow from bare minerals, elf cream concealer(shown in previous blog!), the loreal neautrals quad, Garnier skin renew anti- dark circle roller, stila make and impression in moscow pallete, and revlon colorstay concealer.  I didnt show every single one of these in detail but i promise they are worth the money!  Let me know if you try any of them :)

This is the concealer and i have been using it all month, if not longer.  I use it on my eyelids and under my eye.  On top of the concealer i put the bare minerals thank you.  The thank you shadow is matte and salmon colored so it counter acts the dark circles!
This is a more upclose picture of thank you and also showing the carbon black mascara.  Its a common favorite among many makeup lovers!
peaking of dark circles, i have had a while to try out my Garnier anti dark circle roller and it LOVE it.  i immediately fades the dark circles on contact because it has a slight tint.  This is definitely a permanent favorite.
Here is an upclose picture of the stila pallete.  I got it at sephora for like 10 bucks and i love the top right corner color!  its so gorgeous to wear by itself and gves your eyes a little pop!  The big color is a lipgloss.  the other quad i mentioned by loreal is also a very good thing to have in your collection. They are very wearable colors and they look great on all skin types!

Thank you for reading and check back soon!

Make your hair extensions thicker!

Hey everyone!  I'm not dead! haha.  I've been having some problems with google and to make a long story short, i will no longer provide them with a place to put their advertisements.  But any way! this is a over due blog about how to make your hair extensions thicker!!!

I went to sallys and purchased some blonde extensions from the sassy collection that had not been cut or clipped yet.  they were only about 50 dollars.  In comparison, my already cut and clipped blonde extensions were 100 dollars also from sallys.

Instead of buying thread there, i used some embroidery thread we had around the house

The first thing you need to do is measure the length of your already cut and clipped extension.  Then, cut a piece slightly smaller out of your new extensions

This is my new piece,  it was just a hair shorter on each side than my regular extensions.  Put a little dab of super glue on the ends(where you just cut!) to prevent fraying.

Next, sew the two pieces together using any stitch you are comfortable with!  I am not a seamstress nor am i good at sewing so i used a basic stitch.

after you sew all of your pieces together, your extensions will be nice and thick like this!!!!  This is how i look with my extensions now!

As you can see my ends are very thick and also i have quite a bit of length!
Let me know how your extensions turn out!
Check back soon for more!  Thanks for reading!
